AUTOCLEAR’s Largest Display of Security Equipment at 2007 FPED VI

June 5, 2007

AUTOCLEAR is pleased to be a participant in the sixth Force Protection Equipment Demonstration, FPED VI, which is set to take place August 14-16, 2007 at the Stafford Regional Airport in Virginia. The extensive product line includes AUTOCLEAR, Scintrex Trace, and Federal Labs Systems. AUTOCLEAR will be exhibiting its full line of X-ray security screening equipment from compact, desktop units to mobilized cargo scanners. Also, the latest devices in our metal detection and trace explosives detection product lines will be on view and available for examination within the field conditions.

FPED VI will also allow AUTOCLEAR to present its newest technological advances in force protection. The Scintrex Trace E3100 and E3200 were recently developed to detect and identify marking agents used in the manufacture of plastic explosives and tagged military and commercial explosives, respectively.

10080BST is AUTOCLEAR’s latest dual Backscatter and Transmission Imaging Scanner, which scans large parcels of unlimited length by a meter wide by .8 meter high for bombs, weapons, and also carefully hidden narcotics, SEMTEX, C-4, PETN, currency, ceramic and mixed weapons and smuggled goods. Despite its large open and high throughput, it will fit through a 32” door and is mobile. The 10080BST comes with the most advanced features and the best penetration and resolution available.

The Liquid Explosives Bottle Scanner is a new option for AUTOCLEAR’s X-ray line, primarily the 4626. This device, gaining popularity in airports around the world, is able to scan a questionable bottle or metal can and rule out offending volatile explosives, by use of high penetrating X-rays and advanced algorithms. Units have been purchased for use in the Middle East and also for testing by aviation authorities.

AUTOCLEAR’s booth area will be extended to also encompass the Mobile X-ray Truck/Van, housing X-ray Model 10080. This mobile unit model is available to be customized to the customer’s specifications with different models of chassis and standard features and options.

A biannual event, FPED has gained in popularity over the years, attracting nearly 11,000 attendees and 550 vendors with over 2,900 pieces of force protection equipment in 2005. Leaders and decision makers from the Department of Defense, and other invited agencies from Federal, State, and Local Governments attend the demonstration to observe and become familiar with the components and systems on hand. Eager and grateful for the privilege of demonstrating at an event of this caliber, AUTOCLEAR looks forward to providing solutions for current force protection needs.
